Cameron and I thought Austin's hair was getting a bit long. I have some clippers here at home, so we tried to cut his hair ourselves. Actually, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, until the end.... I decided to use scissors around his ears to get it real precise. I think the scissors must have pulled his hair or something, but he squirmed and screamed really bad. Here is a picture of his haircut. I asked Cam if his store had any infant hats to cover up his hair until it grew back, but alas, they don't. I'm a bit embarassed.
On another note, we went on a family vacation at the beginning of the month to a little Barvarian town called Leavenworth. Greta was able to play in the snow to her hearts content. Personally, I'm not a snow lover, but it was a fun trip anyway. It was nice to just spend time as a family without any other distractions. The resort we stayed at was really made for summer vacationing. The pool and hot tub were outdoors, and we could barely see the parking lot because it was full of snow. There were very few guests there, and the restaurant was closed. The nearest store was 40 minutes away. :)
Well, the kids are growing fast. Austin is crawling now and pulling himself up on furniture. I'm sure he'll walk around his birthday in April. Greta is so sweet and has quite an imagination. I can't believe the sign up for preschool is only a month away! We're potty training, and working on the alphabet. She loves the website www.starfall.com. Hope all 2 of you that read this had a great Christmas and New Year. Come visit us sometime... or better yet, move nearby! :)
