We finally had Greta's 3rd birthday party! It was really fun. It was a crazy hat theme. Greta loves to wear fun hats. Everyone had a crazy hat, some were very inventive. My niece, Kalin, did face painting for all the kids! Her Grandparents made homemade rootbeer, we had hotdogs and alphabet tater tots so everyone could spell their names. I was going to make a cake in the shape of a hat, which turns out really cute, but I was super busy last week, so we went to Costco. They have yummy cakes! There were lots of kids at her party, so we played a "find a hat" game, and they played on the swingset and the bounce house. Overall, I think Greta had a wonderful time. Her face just lit up when we sang Happy Birthday to her. I think I love 3 year olds. Austin's favorite part of the party was getting the punching baloons from the loot bags. He LOVES those things. One kid came up to me and punched the baloon right into me and I spilt my rootbeer all over the place. Now I have to start thinking about Austin's birthday in April.
