Alright. I want all of you sceptics out there to read no further! For those with an open mind, let me let you in on a little dinner secret...
Pasta Bake
1 box penne pasta (I use Barilla Plus, it tastes GREAT)
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 pack (2 cups) of Mozzerella or Italian blend cheese
Parm. Cheese if you want
Pour the box of dry pasta in a baking dish. I use a big round baking pot that has a lid. Pour the sauce over this. Fill up the empty sauce jar with water about 4/5 full and dump that into the dish. Stir. Put this in a 350 oven for 45 minutes or until pasta has soaked up most of the water. Take it out, stir in the pack of cheese, putting a layer on the top of it too. Put it back in the oven, uncovered for another 10 minutes.
I make this on days that I teach piano a lot cuz it takes me literally 60 seconds to make. I have made this for company and they love it. You can add meat, or veggies to it to make it a little fancier if you want, but we like it plain with garlic bread and cooked veggies or a salad.
