Anyone who knows us knows that we are not ordinary people. In fact, we're a little wierd. Greta is starting to follow in our footsteps. Quite often we will put Greta to bed and she will come out of her room a few times before actually going to sleep. We've tried EVERYTHING to make this stop. She is sooo stubborn. It really gets on my nerves. Well, the other night, we put her to bed and 20 minutes later or so I hear her door open. She didn't say anything, just stood in her doorway. I stormed to her room, ready to put her back in bed when I noticed her pillow case on her head. (she has a travel sized pillow with a zipper pillow case) I couldn't help but laugh. I led her into the living room to show Cameron. I just couldn't be mad. Instead, I grabbed the camera.
THEN.... I put her into bed for a nap the other day. I think she is starting to grow out of naps so every day is a struggle. She takes a nap about half the time now. Well, it was a nice hot Saturday and I wasn't holding out much hope for her to take a nap. She just plays and talks in her bed for hours. This day she was wearing a new dress. Apparently, I forgot to take the size sticker off. She came out of her room saying, "mommy, look at my new glasses!" This is what she showed me. *sigh* No nap today.
Just to prove how weird we are, my brother made a picture of me when I was MUCH younger. He called it "monkeygirl". Yes. This is what my family does in our spare time. Sad, but true. ( I can't believe I'm actually sharing this)
