Ode to a wonderful man

I have a great husband! I probably don't say it as much as I should, but I do appreciate him everyday. Here are a few of my favorite qualities:

1. He's patient. I am not-- at all. He is patient with my impatience. I love that, and I need that. He's patient with my daughter who has my patience level. She needs that too.

2. He works hard. He never thinks twice about what he needs to do. If it's important, he gets it done. He just built a huge deck in our backyard and still managed to spend quality time with his family.

3. He's smart. I really don't think he realizes how darned smart he is. He excels at anything he tries. He's a computer genius, a business genius, and did I mention that he built a beautiful deck in our backyard? He didn't even make plans, he just figured it all out in his head and did it. He needs an IQ test. I'm guessing 140-155 for sure.

4. He can cook! He can even flip stuff in a frying pan without a spatula just by shaking it in that fancy way... I am a bit jealous, I admit. He makes GREAT omelets, okonomiyaki, fried rice. Anything he cooks turns out good.

5. He is a super dad. My children adore him. He adores them. I am pretty sure Greta will never become a stripper because she has such a strong father figure in her life. Austin will always have a good example of a man to follow. Fathers are so important. I think he realizes that and he makes every effort to make every moment count. He's going to be a cool dad. Our kids' friends will love him.

When I first met Cameron, I liked the fact that he seemed to be a hard worker and that he was such a good people person. I really had no idea what an excellent man I was marrying. I'm sure the future will only show me more of his wonderful qualities. Although he has already far surpassed my expectations. Thanks for being such a rock in our lives, Cameron. We love you!

I just want to say that I wish I could find me a guy like that!!!!! What a hunk. Just joking. I actually wish that you wouldn't have mentioned the fact that he has no real construction experience, yet he still built that deck. Amy is always wanting me to do things around the house and I used to use the excuse that I don't know how. That excuse is now gone thanks to you Cameron. But I know old Cameron is a great guy. We wish we could still be in K building or somewhere close to you guys. Nothing beats hearing Cameron talking about the solitude of being out surfing during a sacrament meeting. You guys are awesome.
