"Your dead if you aim only for kids. Adults are only kids grown up, anyway." - Walt Disney
Yep. My mom and I are leaving Tuesday to go to Disneyland. I'm not feeling guilty anymore. My kids will have their time. It's about time for this big kid to go. I've only been waiting 29 years! ( I can say 29 years now because it's my birthday today). We've got our trip all planned out. Well, sort of. We're flying stand-by, so we don't REALLY know when we're going. We don't have a hotel, because I can't decide on one, and I want to make sure the flight loads aren't too full before I commit to a hotel. We don't really know what we're getting ourselves into since neither of us has ever been there. We will survive somehow. I'm looking forward to having a really fun adventure with my mom. I'm so grateful that Cameron is such a great husband and loving father. He is taking the time off at work to be Mr. Dad while I'm away. He will have to take Greta to school, babysit the kids I watch a couple of days before and after school, cook, clean, (yes, Cameron, the house HAS to be clean or I'll sense it and won't have a good time!) break up fights between the kids, entertain the children, explain why their mommy went to Disneyland and left them at home... Yes. He will be busy! I have to say, that deep down inside, I'm actually pleased that he gets to taste a bit of my "life" for a few days. Motherhood is difficult at times. There are also many moments that I get to enjoy while Cameron is at work. I hope he gets to enjoy some of those moments too. I hope to have some great pictures to post when I get back!!!
