“Be like a duck. Calm on the surface, but always paddling like the dickens underneath.” ~Michael Caine
This is another park we like to go to in Puyallup. To every park, there seems to be pro's and con's. It's impossible to me to find the 'perfect park'. Luckily, there are lots to choose from around here. This park in downtown Puyallup is called Decourssey Park. Or, the "duck park" as my kids call it. I have fond memories of this park from my childhood. My Granny used to pack up her day old bread and we would head to this park to feed the ducks. There are signs posted now that say you're not supposed to do that, so we just look at the ducks. We came to see if they had any babies yet, but we were too early. I think they should be born soon. So this park has a big pond with a nice path to walk around. There is a play area that we like because it has swings. The only issue is that it has pea gravel. Yuck. It gets in shoes and is so dirty. Bleh. There are also covered picnic areas and lots of area of grass. Overall, a pretty serene little park.

You camping post is hilarious . . . nice theory.
I am totally with you on the sad movie thing . . . don't care for them on single bit.
That looks like a nice park. I hate gravel areas where playground equipment is.
