My quirks

My friend Amy tagged me and I am supposed to reveal 6 of my "quirks". To those of you that know me, you know that I'm a pretty strange person to begin with so it really wasn't a stretch to think of a LOT. Well, I'm going to post 3. If I do anymore, I might scare y'all away. (tangent: I say y'all a lot eventhough I'm from Washington, go fig.)

1. I'm scared of fish. Now, before you judge, if I look at a fishtank, I don't freak out or anything. I mean SWIMMING with fish. I really don't swim in the ocean or a lake unless I really have to. I did swim in the ocean a few times when we were living in Hawaii. Two seperate times I got a fish stuck in my swimming suit. And one other time I got a crab stuck in my swimming suit. (insert joke here, if you wish) The first time I went snorkeling I came across what I thought was a pretty large parrot fish. I was fine until it started swimming right towards me!! I paniced and clung onto Cam for dear life.

2. I sleep at the end of the bed. Not like a dog or anything... I mean my head is at the foot of the bed, the opposite of Cameron. I'm sure y'all are laughing out loud right about now, but it makes sense! The tops of our bodies take up a lot more room than our feet. I like to spread out my elbows and put my arms under my pillow. Cameron snores and breathes heavy into my face if I am up at the other end. I have tried sleeping at the top of the bed, but I find myself asking Cam to turn over in the middle of the night. I guess I just like my space. One quirky sidenote about Cam: He won't lay the way I do with his head on the end of the bed because he feels like he's laying downhill. One night I got out his 4 foot level to prove that one wrong.

3. I say "ghetto" a LOT. Everything is ghetto to me. When I call my brother's cell phone, the song "in the ghetto" sung by Cartman plays. I guess I really need to change that habit. My kids are going to pick up on it very soon. Greta already uses the phrase "freaking out" because of me.

That's it. Judge me if you must.

So funny! I especially love the one about your fear of fish! I cannot believe that you actually got two fish and a crab stuck in yo8ur suit! Who in the world does that happen too. I hate the idea of swimming with fish as well, the thought of touching their slimy little bodies in the water "freaks me out." But I grew up in the ocean and not once did a fish ever get trapped in my suit! That is really amazing!
