Primary Talk

"You can speak well if your tongue can deliver the message of your heart. " ~ John Ford

I was so excited the day Greta came home from church with a little note asking her to give a talk the next week. I have been waiting for this day for a long time. (kind of the same feeling I got when Greta got to bring the snack to Preschool the first time) I know. I'm easily amused. Her topic was about how her family members can help her. I was a bit worried about how she would act when she got up to the pulpit in Primary in front of everyone. We prepared her talk and we practiced it. The first time she practiced it, she did a great job but she was too quiet. I told her that she could be a little louder. This was too much criticism for her because that was the last time she practiced. When it was time to do her talk, she proudly walked up to the pulpit with a family picture in her hand. I held it up for her and whispered in her ear. She spoke very clearly and everyone knew what she was saying. It turned out great. I can't wait until she gets to do it again!
